FSA ceased to exist as soon as OC bailed them out. What is it that you think CFK is doing that is so bad? Bringing ECNL is such a terrible thing for the girls side, and that combined with OC now getting the DA for the boys is what everyone in the state wants. What concessions do you think should have been made to OC by CFK? There is a reason that FSA needed help by OC so why would OC want to use the FSA business model or its people to head up anything. I know at least BH has put his name in for a position, but he may have a tough time with other people from inside and outside CFK or OC. Economics Lesson:
It is all about manpower and their coaching cadre. They will have coaches covering multiple teams with trainers and other coaches backing them up. CDL, FPL, DA and ECNL all use a scheduling philosophy of multiple age group teams from the same club at a given location. This type of scheduling requires fewer coaches. By reducing headcount it allows better pay rates for the coaches you do need.Comment

It's not an invasion- it's a merger. No one at CFK, FSA or at OCYS wants a single player to be left out. Change is difficult- for everybody. But you and your player are valuable to the new club. It's funny because for years it was all the good players should congregate at one club and put our best foot forward and now that it's happening everyone is ******* and moaning. Agreed...I still think it's good to have options though. Never a good thing when 1 club absorbs all the other clubs and eliminates all the options. Not everyone lives and dies for soccer. Some just like to compete enjoy the game and play with their friends. When 1 club is in charge they can dictate anything they want and if your kid wants to play must abide by 1 club's philosophy.
