You're dead wrong. 2 years ago the CFK management was talking about how to land ECNL. They applied the first year and failed. They reached out to other ECNL clubs and contacts at ECNL. Asked for direction in what org structures, operations and training disciplines ECNL wanted to see. They made changes and implemented policies specifically aimed at landing the ECNL gig.

And they were successful. As a result, the club was able to have a place at the table in negotiating the merge with OCYS. It's completely natural that this success would lead to some high positions for the top management of former CFK. But idiots like you See a conspiracy around every corner.

CFU, CFK and HM had a plan 3 years ago and have done in 3 short years what the other clubs couldn't do in 30 years and that pisses the other people off. It's no mystery. Why does everyone keep saying that? It was one small group of about 20-25 girls which based on previous posts, were probably guaranteed spots already. What about the other 800 in the club or even the other 100 or so other girls in attendence. What about the boys team he coaches? Way more were very silent!!

It's pretty simple. Son take you and your child to rush. The Club who rg gets paid per child registered in the club by rush. The club who dominated the state 4 years ago and now can't put a decent team on the field at any age group.

Or take them to FCA. Who hires 22 yr old inexperienced English guys to coach your kid for 4 months until they get tired of making $200 a month and sleeping on the floor and is run by a Harvard businessman who is simply interested in running camps and making money.

There are choices, and short of you havg a vendetta and being scared no one will show up at your FCA/mainland/rush try-outs I'm failing to see the point of whining here.

All of the hm stuff is pretty funny.

Hm takes over cfu as executive director.
Cfu might have possibly been the worst run soccer club in America at the time.
He got rid of most of the bod who were awful and brought in real business guys.
He successfully navigated mergers with krush and kraze and eos who everyone said was impossible.
He got ecnl and now is promoting a merger in which he is no longer the head guy because it is the right decision for growth in Orlando.

Within 6 months they agreed that 5 was a more functional number. 15>5. Within a year, the board members of recreational dads with an agenda had been replaced with proper businessmen with real business savvy.

So pleased to see a few others who can objectively evaluate Hue's impact on central Florida youth soccer.

Our family has been with the club for years- we've witnessed the chaos and dysfunction, watched dozens of others throw up their hands and move to other clubs. Then a few BoD members said "enough", recruited HM, and changed the direction.3 years later the results are undeniable, and all the bitter agenda-driven naysayers have to talk about is his "poor people skills" or his lack of public speaking ability.

Our last kid is almost done with youth soccer. it has been a great experience the last few years- not just because of Hue, but because of the great people who joined the organization he has built despite a lot of resistance and long odds. I think OCYS will be a huge success and 1000s of kids will have a great experience- due in no small part to Hue's efforts at CFU / CFK.

Here are some facts that everyone can figure out just by going to the meeting.

ECNL , was more like a phone call and favor from a previous player who is now the commissioner of ECNL.

Cfk never wanted their girls to play high school and is now using the excuse to enforce it. FSA / OC people were going to allow it prior to the meeting.

DA has pretty much always had the rule regarding no HS.

If it were between picking a Cfk player over an FSA player Cfk would get the slot. Because Cfk people are running the show not OC.

Every BIO read all were high school standouts and put that on their bio because it was something the were proud of. Some played and coached at the high school level. But now HS is crap to them.

FSA coaches will be 2nd choice for coaching slots. But have to play the political game to stay. OC did you blindside all the FSA coaches, and was this something in the works years ago?

Why was there no reps from the old FSA noted during meeting except one or two. Fact seems to be this was a blind side takeover at the last minute. Seems OC did not stand up and recognize this.

What happens when you have a vast majority of the of your elite players decide to stay at SC so they can have the high school experience that every player before them has had and went to college on a scholarship. You will have a lot of players come to tryouts however your elite team may be made up of players from outside the community.

Parents, if your child is a bubble player between Sc and ecnl, you will be told to do ecnl rather then sc go ahead spend the money to ride the pine. But you will be told 350 coaches will be at each game but will your kid even get off the bench to be seen.

Way out the time and money before you make the choice because if your kid is good enough and you put your kid where they need to be at the right time outside of ecnl they will get that scholarship everyone is pushing.

gb and ja started all of this. I bet a large percent of the players that began playing for the Kraze/Krush at an early age will be part of the higher level teams at OC.
