And to think he is not the biggest or the fastest. Florida coaches take note!

you do realize that an 11 yr old player from Orlando was playing for Ajax in holland last year right? And Ajax's youth program is much more prestigious than Newcastle's.

"was playing" how long was that a week or two, I know there are a lot of talented kids in regions A, B, & C, but the problem is the "COACHES" always go for the big fast kids because they are all worried about their teams winning instead of developing the players, I don't know about you people, but I see a pattern , and here it is, In region A, and I'm only talking fla. the majority of the population is S American, and they have a tendency to teach skill and technique . when all the kids grow and are the same size the ones that were taught the skill are more successful, so the kids that are weaker technically have a harder time later in soccer , but the coaches dont care because they move on to others, or recycle. this is not a slight to the kids its a problem with the sorry pack of coaches that are only worried about state cup, and if your a coach or parent you know who you are !!!

Youth coaches who don't win enough get fired. Sadly enough, it's the truth in 99% of the cases.

He was there for a year. Suffered a stress fracture and is back in the states. he was tiny but fast and very skilled.

all regions have coaches teaching skill. Sfl has a much larger concentrated population which leads to more players to chose from. that is why their teams lead the way in FL.

Have to make a note of this kids' name. Look for him in a few years.... I must say that if Mom says the "house would be boring without soccer" and "my dad trains me 4-5 times a week" and he's an only child...the writing is already on the wall. I wish him all the best but it sounds like a robot to me. I surely hope that he is at center mid in 6-7 years for the US but he sounds like Todd Marinovich and now he has to be better than Freddy Adu.

many on this forum have noted that there are way too many club teams in Fla and that is the big problem> if that's the case then there should be enough spots on all of the competitive teams for the darters and the bruisers both> if the bruisers have the advantage when they are young and the darters catch up later then it will work itself out in the long run> just get on a team and play>> and let the best team win>
