    Tampa Soccer Alliance

Just got home and found the new Touchline in my mailbox. Near the back was an ad for the Tampa Soccer Alliance, a working agreement between FC Tampa, Lutz Rangers and FSC Spirit. They advertised tryouts for all age groups. Clearly they are working together to have as many teams as possible. Not sure where each age group will practice, but this seems to be as big a step as the EL/PH merger and it has not really been discussed on the board.

With the three working together it fills in the territory between HCU and Fusion with a new option.

Figured this was coming. Knew about fctampa and knew MC was very close to fsc so this was no surprise. His son already started playing for the u12 team at fsc.

Thought this was interesting, especially with the 'partnership' with Glasgow Rangers. Here's the info off their website:

Too bad Valrico couldn't get their act together and work it our with BAYSL.

I know, I know...BAYSL's BOD screwed the whole thing up. That's why they are growing and merging with other clubs abd VSC can't get out of it's own way. When you try to merge with 4 other clubs (that we know of) and none of them work out...it's time to look in the mirror. Every club said the same thing...why would we let a DOC who ran a viable club into the ground have any say over anything except the concession stand?
