    UNC PREP CAMP

    The University of North Carolina College Prep Camp is open to male soccer players who are in grades 9-12. The Prep camp is designed to give players the opportunity to experience a NCAA Division 1 training environment, be evaluated by college coaches as well as get exposure to the University of North Carolina Men’s Coaching Staff and other college coaches that make up the Prep Camp staff.

    When: Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30

    Where: The Prep Camp is held at the Finley soccer complex, training facility of the Tar Heels.

    Cost: $125

    The cost includes training sessions run by highly qualified collegiate coaches, recruiting lecture, training sessions and competitive matches.  All lodging and meals are the responsibility of the camper. All campers will need to bring a ball, shin-guards, and the proper training gear for all the sessions. The goalkeeping portion of the prep camp will be run by Jeff Negalha. Meals and lodging are not provided.  There will be a certified athletic trainer at each session and water will be provided.

    Space is limited to: 60 (8 goalkeepers and 52 field players) participants, the camp is expected to be full, so register early.

    According to the Florida Futsal & Soccer Association there are several teams asking for another Futsal tournament. FFSA is thinking of doing one during the Memorial day weekend. IT is easy for a team to participate. Need only 7 or 8 players to participate. Maximum of 12 players on the roster. Teams having problems to get their whole roster can make 1 team or add on guest players to form the second team.

    e-mail the FFSA @ TASFACA@hotmail.com They need at least 4 teams of each category.
    The Futsal age groups runs according to the International age group and year calender from 01-01/ to 31/12
    YOUTH
    Group A 7 + 8 years old Born 2000/2001 = Category 2000
    Group B 9 + 10 ,, ,, ,, 1998/1999 = Category 1998
    Group C 11 + 12 ,, ,, ,, 1996/1997 = Category 1996
    Group D 13 + 14 ,, ,, ,, 1994/1995 = Category 1994
    Group E 15 +16 ,, ,, ,, 1992/1993 = Category 1992
    Group F 17 - 20 ,, ,, ,, 1991-1988 = Category Seniors

    ADULTS 1987 and older.
    You are allowed to play up 1 age group with notarized parent permission.
    If you want to play up 2 age groups you need a notarized parent permission and FFSA Insurance will not be applicable in case of injury.
