Does anyone know how to contact the system admins, or whoever is responsible for the "terms of service"? I believe that my conduct is well within the spirit of any reasonable "terms of service", but I can't guarantee that my conduct is within a strict interpretation of the "terms of service", as described at http://www.talking-soccer.com/TS4/fa...rd_faq#faq_tos
Specifically, they are too vague. How could one express disagreement without risking violation of "Any word used in a derogatory fashion against somebody constitutes a personal attack and will be treated that way". I this is a poorly written constraint. Is that derogatory? Some mght say it is.
I have on occasion stated that somone's stated position is "nonsense", follwed by an explanantion of why I feel that way. Derogatory or not?
In general I agree with the perceived intent of these terms of service, but I question some of the specifics.
In a way, I don't think it matters. I hoped that many of the users of the HS soccer forum at al.com would start posting here and that this board would take over the role that that forum has in AL. Both the software and the management of that forum are very poor, and posts have a very short lifetime. This is a much better system, but there aren't enough people using it, so one is forced back to al.com to see what people are up to.
One thing about that forum is that posts are deleted without notice and the original poster is not informed about the deletion or, more importantly, why the post was deleted.
