Wow somehow bayside 08’s tied 0-0 yesterday against some team called spirit of liverpool???? How can bayside NOT score a goal against this team. Remember back in the day this team would constantly beat stars blue, NEFC GA and select. Now they are tying some team called spirit and they cant even score a goal! Holy moly!

come on Bayside you are better than this.

1. Kick and run does not work on the bigger field.
2. Better players leave for better clubs.
3. Girls who were "advanced" at uLittle don't always hold that advantage as the others mature and/or work harder.

As always, these parents were told this would happen over and over. But they were just too enamored with winning games at the youngest age to listen.

Try to play/practice with the most talented kids you are able to against the best competition you can find. That's it. If you are among the best 2-3 players on your team, time to start looking for a new team. If you are winning your games by 4+ goals every week, time to find a new team.

Guess it depends on your definition of "area." Mendon and Taunton are both within 60-90 minutes of most of RI.

There is not 1 girl on Bayside 08’s,and ill include 07’s in this as well, that could ever make Stars, Scorpions or NEFC’s top team. Bayside is a minor league town team compared to those 3 clubs top teams.

Saw that the 07’s got destroyed by Scorpions 07’s on Saturday. Scorpions was down their top goalie and 3 top of the roster injured girls and still doubled up on bayside. Just pitiful bayside….must do better than getting embarrassed like that.

Any news on how the 08’s did this weekend from other bayside haters?

Hope its NOT Rhode Island Surf cause Surf absolutely pounded Bayside 2 weeks ago in a tournament. It wasnt even close. RI Surf made it to the finals while Bayside went winless for the weekend. #pathetic

Surf in DPL which is equally bad. Best players all need to go MA clubs to get better competition

d playing in the Stars tournament this weekend and the chatter was that Bayside 2008's finalllyyyy picked up a girl that can score so they should be instantly better next year. Their mids, backs and goalie were all solid last year but when you can't score you can't win. 08's just didn't have any player that could score for the past few years so glad to hear about this pickup.

yes scoring for sure is much needed for Bayside 08's. Glad they got a goal scorer. It's always better for girls soccer when Bayside is good. They had that fast 08 girl that came up thru Bayside's program, but unfortunately isn't much of a threat anymore. Girls have all caught up to her so they definitely needed new girls.

surprised Bayside 08's are coming to a very strong NEFC showcase. I guess they will be put in the lowest bracket with the U-14 teams. My money is on the U-14's to destroy Bayside.
