If CT teams are so bad, why did Bayside teams travel down to Long Island in March to get beat by CT teams? I’m confused? Very talented, multiple age group teams for girls side at CFC North, Ginga, CT Rush Elite - all teams Surf has been playing that would and have beaten most Bayside girls teams.

I get it that this board is just coaches, administrators and a few overzealous dads. I get it that it’s the same small handful of people who bring every single topic back to Pumas and try to blur the lines between Surf and Pumas hoping to cause confusion for parents. It always goes back to PB, LR, FI and it’s tough to follow everyone’s agenda. Some are trying to push their club, most are disparaging other clubs and a few just come to stir the pot and rile people up.

Here is my advice to anyone who is on here for real, trying to figure out fact from fiction and get some answers around their options. Go have a conversation with the coaches at the RI Clubs that would be coaching your kids age group. Reach out to them - they are all accessible. See which ones are genuine and see which ones can’t help themselves from putting other clubs/coaches down. That will help make your decision easier. If you can read through peoples BS it won’t be hard at all. It should feel like a conversion, not a sales pitch.
