What a special last home game. Thoroughly dominated a Davidson team that wasn’t use to playing in freezing weather. URI looked terrific in all aspects of game. Good luck in A10 playoffs

Agreed, URI moves very well off the ball. Nice scoring on set plays. Very senior-laden squad. Nice to have a bunch of Norwegians on the team when your playing in this type weather, although would have been nice to see some of the little Ram-lets grow up to play for the big team.

That’s about it. Women’s program has nothing to do with Rams. Rams is owned and operated by Men’s side who will continue to be heavily fortified w Europeans and Scandinavians. If they don’t the program will not be able to compete with everyone else.
Sport is introduced to American kids but now taken away at the D1and D2 levels.

URI hasn’t done well in the last 3 years. Thought they would turn it around this year but they fell apart before conference.

You certainly are referring to the women's side. Men have won the A10 regular season and nationally ranked.

Their problem is the a10 is --#19-- RPI death. Their SOS sucks and the #2 team in the Con' VCU has an RPI of like 120. All of which means you have to win the Con' tourny or you're not getting in the Tourn.

Tourney Bound! Nice job URI
I wouldn't blame A10. It's taken 10 years to get back to relevancy getting beat up in the A10. Congrats to Elliot for bringing URI back.
"Elliott has now been a part of seven A-10 titles with Rhode Island. Two as a player, three as an assistant coach and two as a head coach."

There lots of foreign players graduating after this year. Continuing success will depends on how good his foreign based recruiting will be for next year. Same will PC. Their 2 foreign players will be in the same situation. Will see what happens next year.

Hey thread creator, please indicate in the future that you are talking about MEN'S URI soccer. I saw all the hoopla, and was wondering what the...oh, it's the guys. Gals are not very good.
