Pilgrim lost 4-0 to Barrington in a pre-season scrimmage right before tearing through D2. Shows the disparity. Yes Pilgrim should have been in D1 but they’d likely not make the playoffs. That’s why they sandbagged this year. Tired of winning 3 games the last few years.

They were missing a few top players against Barrington, including top scorer....they did also beat Coventry 9-1 preseason with a full Coventry squad. Get a clue.

Correction, we were missing four starters that game and testing a lot of jv kids against Barrington!

Given the mediocre middle of the pack performances, they'd have been somewhere in 5-8..I guess their principal has more pull on the PCOA than Burrillville's.. What a surprise Prout gets rolled in 6th game in 8 days..

Guys, you are talking scrimmages so neither result matters. If scituate can be competitive, pilgrim certainly would be with twice the talent.

Let's face it. Pilgrim should have stayed in D1. There is no doubt about it. Coach whined to principal about not winning and moved him down so he could win a trophy. They would have easily been seeded 5-8 in the D1 playoffs. Yes, I think Scituate may have beaten them. Maybe. I think it would've been pretty even.
Burrillville got the shaft. After watching them play us I actually feel bad that the committee did that to those kids.
Pilgrim could have stayed right where they were and so Burrillville should have as well.
And Preseason matches do not count. How idiotic is that? They are just matches to start putting things together, training, and practicing.

Scituate would beat Pilgrim all day long.

No prayer...as good as the scituate keeper is, when she has been peppered with countless shots enough still get through (not blaming her)...pilgrim would beat them handily, and it isn't the kids fault that the coach took the cowards way out

Does anyone know what school (Johnston or EG?) is hosting the Semi-Finals for D1? I assume D2 and D3 will use the same field although I may be wrong.
