MB is good, but poster should clarify "goal differential" with a bit of realism...against the three bottom teams they played which have no more than 1 win each they were a 16-2....against the other 7 teams they played they are 14-12...might want to reconsider "machine" label

Sounds like a MB coach who had his kids pad stats. Any coach who lets an individual player get more than two goals in a rout against a weak team is pathetic, especially if some occur in the second half. Maybe he can be an assistant for Johnston.

Scituate will win, as they just pounded Chariho. Thought burrillville would contend, but their new coach does not manage his personnel well.

With that said, MB is a good young team but Scituate has to be considered the favorite as they are the defending champs and don't look like they have slowed down a bit.

Scituate only has 1 outstanding player and she is complemented by several good players. Fortunately for them their top player is the keeper and she is miles ahead of anyone else in the division. Pure athlete, rather than a kid who plays the position out of default like most other teams.

I think there is confusion in this thread. Some are commenting on D2 boys and some D2 girls as the original post did not distinguish which. Just a thought.

MB coach may be classy, but when you beat hapless Tiverton 7-0 and are up 4-0 at the half with multiple kids scoring, and same kids go out and score more( one kid ended up with four), I'd say he had an off night. Is that at least a fair assessment?

I am a D2 coach and girls MB coach is a good man who generally sets a very good example. I am sure if he had it to do over he would have pulled any kid after 2 goals based on opponent's clear lack of talent.
