Is it safe to say that the farce of MB competing in D2 will be over after this season? Clearly a very talented team, but it is disgraceful to be where they are.

One can only hope..rooting for Smithfield but MB should be up in D1.

I'm pulling for SK and the publics to continue the LaSalle drought. Actually only 3 of the last 11 Div 1 Boys championships have gone to LaSalle. Barrington has 4 during that same time frame. And Barrington is still the modern era RIIL champion with 13 Div 1 championships to LaSalle's 9. SK will be shooting for their 3rd Div 1 Championship after a 25 year drought (1992).

Here's the schools with the top 5 championship Div 1 Boys Championships:

Barrington 13
LaSalle 9
Bristol-Mt. Hope 7
North Kingstown 6
Hendricken and East Providence 4

I think on the crappy field in the cold weather SK had a good chance..rooting for Smithfield and Cranston East as well
