I wouldn't say Smithfield had the run of play, especially in a 3-0 game. Can Smithfield play with LaSalle? Yes. Did LaSalle's striker make the difference? Yes, since she scored all 3. I don't recall many tests for the LaSalle keeper.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

I don't think LaSalle is as strong as previous seasons. A few good players but are not stacked at all. Not a sure thing for them this year. Nor should it be regarding their roster not their coach. Just being fair as an opposing parent.
It's very easy to blame the coach when the kids aren't playing well, however, you need to look at your player and the players around them as well. Are they all doing their jobs? Sometimes it can be the coach as well. But... sometimes it is a little of both or maybe the talent just isn't there. (WE) Most of us as parents don't want to see it as our players or their teammates faults for some of the game. The easy way out is to blame the ref or the coach.
I love this site though. Some parents are insane. Love it!Comment
