I'm sorry but that poster is absolutely delusional. You honestly believe there is ECNL caliber players on the RI / Strikers team? Have you actually watched an ECNL game? Possibly one or two should be on the NPL team. However they would have to tryout for the Bayside team.Comment

Have you seen the girl play? Obviously not...She is absolutely an ecnl quality player...and I have seen many Ecnl games. I was at a tournament over the winter and a penn fusion parent asked me which ecnl team she was trying out for. That she lives in bayside's back yard is further proof that they are slipping. If she lived in Wellesely or Canton she would have been recruited two years ago. Go to the game on Saturday and see for yourself. Or is it just easier to make things up and post opinions without any basis of knowledge?Comment

Why hasn't another club recruited her? Bayside is not the only club with access to. Her. Does she do ODP, or attend other clubs IDP and/or tryouts? Is she simply contented to play on a middle division NEP team? That's fine if she is, but if she aspires to continue to develop, be challenged, she needs to play with, and against better players. If she is ECNL quality then Bayside isn't where she belongs, never mind strikers...
Maybe she or her parents have no interest pursuing the elite levels? And if that is the case then I applaud them for not doing what others think is best..Comment
