RI clubs that develop female college players

What clubs in RI consistently develop girls into college players d1 through d3? Years ago Bayside was the best option. Have other clubs started sending more than 2 or 3 girls on to college?

Come back in 4 or 5 years and ask that question. No RI club outside of Bayside has sent anyone of significance to college programs. Mass clubs have sent many RI girls to college programs. But no other RI club.

Not true. The problem is that the landscape has changed so much in the last 5 years even. Programs have come and gone and new programs getting stronger. I know of kids from Blackwatch, Bruno, Tidal Wave, and Lusitana that are playing in college right now, but most of these programs are either gone or hanging by a thread now. However, NEFC Southeast is too new in the state to track anything in way of college yet. Same with GPS RI. There will definitely players coming out of these programs within a few years.

What programs do you think are on the rise? You must have specific clubs in mind.

I think anyone who knows anything about the club scene around here know that NEFC Southeast branch and GPS RI are both getting stronger. Smaller older clubs dying out.

There are not any clubs in RI developing female college players. My personal opinion. If anywhere, Bayside. And it just so happens some of our better players are going there. But how good are they (players)? You can't go to training a few days a week and some league and tournament games and come out a college player. (Unless you happen to be a natural) Too much stock put into these programs.
I think Bayside (don't have a child playing there) seems like the better choice anyway. Really not seeing them developing anywhere. Very watered down.
For the most part we have D3 and D2 players here. A sprinkling of D1s. They are coming out of Bayside, so I have been told. And... also have been told the girls are on the move to MA??? Are there any guarantees after you write the check that the player will be playing in college???

Someone on here must have the statistic from the last year or two on how many girls went D1 D2 D3... from RI. I agree, It doesn't appear that we are sending that many. On the boys side as well.

There are plenty of talented players in Rhode Island. Almost every elite team in Mass has a RI kid (particularly on the girls side). I guess my question is what counts as a RI Club developing a player? If a kid starts at Bruno for two years and then moves to Bayside for two more, but eventually leaves for a Mass club at 14 or 15 years old in order to play ECNL for instance, haven't the RI clubs really developed them?

You do have a point. I would have to say Bayside. However, once again, there are no guarantees. Coaches, players talent level and ambition all play a part here too. Not just the parents ambition (I am not saying that about you). Good coaching and a lot of effort by the player after training is over.

Portsmouth, Ocean State, Smithfield, and East Greenwich have developed these kids.

I know it stinks for the club that feels like they have developed the player for several years when they leave, but on the other hand, if the player is now with the Revs Academy or playing in the ECNL or winning a National Championship at the NPL Tournament (RI Players on all those teams)...didn't the RI club do their job? (didn't mean to sound like Belichick there) Talking from a girls perspective now...but it seems like all the major Division 1 schools in the area/New England/NJ/NY have a RI girls on the roster.

Please add Lincoln to that list.

Carlos is the one Bayside coach who truly markets and places his players around to D1 programs. He understands the process and works hard for his girls.

worth noting that Bayside's U18 team has essentially every girl committed to college, most to D1 and D2

We thought about Bayside but there are a couple of parents at my oldest's age we could not stand. People who trash kids and scream and yell. Why does the club keep these types around?
