    Let me say this....
It is all about the money. All these programs are money makers. The time, money, and training does not equal out.
One of my children played two years at Bayside. The other programs are not very good at all. Bruno terrible, Rams-ehhh.
I do not have an allegiance to any of them. However, the only good program IN the state of RI is Bayside. And... I do not think they are the best around but they do a decent job. Once again, even they are about money but have some coaches there that are doing the right thing. Depends who your coach is.
I am glad I am done with the youth ranks. A lot of time and money wasted! And my children are happy playing where they are, I can't say the money was well spent on RI clubs.
If you are good enough you really do have to go to MA. Good luck to all the parents but more importantly good luck to your children!
I don't begrudge clubs making money. You know that going in, don't you?

The key to enjoying youth soccer is to match your kid's soccer goals with your kid's soccer team's goals. If your kid wants to play in college then they won't be happy playing on a team with kids just playing for fun, and vice versa.

If you can find team that matches your goals you won't mind spending the money.

Sorry about that, one played Bayside and one played in an Academy program. Not Bayside.
Agreed... it is about team and players goals. Very true.
I am not bashing Bayside at all. I think they are the only quality program RI has. Matching your goals or your kids goals?

It will be interesting to see how the young Boys GPS RI South teams do vs BaysideFc in the future.
The GPS Teams with the former South County coaches are a very good . They are more athletic , organized and have just as good technical skills as the Baysidefc players .Too bad Bayside South never panned out . Missed opportunity!

The U11 and u12 GPS RI South teams are a bit better than BaysideFc teams .

Blah blah blah. You'll have your chance at state cup time.

            Good coaching - Yes
            Bigger and stronger - Yes
As technical as bayside - No

At this age sizes matter. On the girls it will be interested to see in the coming years.

Do you really think size matters in soccer.
