U13 Girls State Cup

I have no problem with Bayside losing players to ECNL clubs. Great for the players. I personally think they can compete at the NPL level but has not done so because they done a poor job of recruiting second tier players in RI. They are actually very good coaches but you can only bleed so much water out of a rock. Some of the players have been on the same team for too long and becoming entitled to their position on the team. Each year a team must cycle at least 2-4 players in order to continue to improve. I have seen teams with no players movement at all and their performance have suffered or stay the same. GPS, Stars, and NEFC recruit like hell. Why Bayside doesn't I don't know.

Let's look at the boys U14 and U15. Players on the U14 stays the same. This year's result so far are awful give the talents they have on that team. U15 got a lot better. Notice they added couple new players to that team.

As for the State Cup, Bayside can not settle each year just beating up RI's clubs. To be the best in NE you have to show up a compete. As for my prediction is year Bayside will win no more the 6 Cups. On the boys side they only guarantee will be the U13 and U18. On the girl side U18, U17, U15 are safe bet. The rest will be competitive.

Eh, did you see the girls U13 Scores? The NEP team beat NEFC 1-0 and NPL crushed Bruno 7-0. Seems like another good bet in that age group.

As an outside observer, that team lacks talents to play at NPL level. The coach should be congratulated for getting them that far. A SuperLiga Classic Gold team at best.

What is the deal with Bayside not letting any parents watch games from inside their fences. It seems ridiculous that you pay all that money and have to watch games through chain link like at a prison yard. Is it really because of the crazy Bayside parents or is there another reason. Makes no sense to me.

I guess u haven't been to Stars field where it's same way. Coaches and players on the field. Isn't the priority for the kids to learn and develop.
