The question is did they fill the required 50% Rhode Island roster residence requirement to play in the Rhode Island State Cup? Other than Bayside what other NPL teams did they beat? Not much credibility in a three 3-1 loss prior to tryouts to their own Elite team. They should be decent they are pulling a high percentage from MA the question is are they a RI or a MA team - they train & play in Fall River - MA.

Poster in previous post is right on. Vast majority (actually 10 out of 14 players) of the team is from Rhode Island. Fall River isn't that far from RI border. Some people are willing to drive more than 5 minutes for their kids sports experiences.

Team beat Bayside NPL in RI Cup, tied Syracuse Academy and beat GPS NPL who plays in NY NPL in NEFC Tourney. Losing 3-1 to NEFC Elite, the number 2 team in the country, is a pretty good achievement for the Bayside labeled "C/D team". NEFC Elite allowed 4 goals ALL YEAR in the NE NPL, 2 in the Fall and 2 in the Spring.

Bayside lost to NEFC Elite 5-1 and 5-0 in league play and you are dumb enough to bash a team that lost 3-1 in the Regionals to them?

You are making it sound like the NEFC Regional SC/RI team is supposed to be better than the NEFC ELite team, obviously without a clue what you are talking about. Very sad, hope things work out better with your 26 man roster over at Bayside.

What exactly is your point? Not everyone has the same end game and last I knew there is no restriction on how people choose to spend their own money.

And you are on TS why? You are most likely a troll, but sadly I have met many folks in youth soccer (usually on town travel boards and sidelines) who continue to scoff at anyone who dares to spend their own hard earned money on club soccer. Not everyone has the same reason to taking their kids to premier, and although in many cases, if in the same circumstance I would not make the same choice, its their choice to make.

Oh and by the way, my kids play premier AND we donate to our church.
