    RI Area Premier clubs

Just trying to sort out the Premier club options for where the majority of players in RI go. I realize there are players from RI that may travel further to other big clubs, or a random one or two on some other small MA/CT club, but I'm just trying to peg down the most obvious local ones that most RI players go. Please feel free to add if I've missed any obvious ones.

    NEP/NPL Clubs

    NEFC Southeast/Premier/Elite
    Bayside FC/Strikers
    Bruno FC
    GPS RI

    MAPLE Premier (not town) Clubs

    Nova
    Tidal Wave
    Nor'easter
    Explosion
    RI Rams
    Bayside United
    Lusitana

I'd say you have it covered. Tryouts are this week, if you are looking hopefully you've narrowed your choices to a few clubs.

And you have them listed in the correct order already.

I think the person that posted that the order was correct meant that NEFC Elite is better than Bayside, which you really can't argue against.

I would agree that MA base Elite are better than Bayside however to say NEFC RI is little silly attemp to humor us.

On the girls side, ask the Bayside U13's how silly it is. Or the U14's who barely escaped the local NEFC team in State Cup. Not to mention the current local NEFC U11 and U10 teams would beat the Bayside teams in the same ages. To say it's a silly notion to say that shows how silly you are.

Nice try, but you do realize the NEFC U13 team that beat you in the State Cup was completely made up from NEFC SC (not an old Blackwatch team). And hate to break it to you, but BOTH RI and SC GU11 teams would beat your U11 Red team. And now they are merging and becoming stronger. Here's the reality. Your older teams will still dominate RI, but your younger teams are in trouble. Best talent is moving to NEFC, and even the NEFC Southeast teams will be stronger and stronger moving forward. You guys over at Bayside keep trying to minimize the threat, which is the easiest way to get beat. Only hope your DOC and coaches don't carry they same attitudes than these delusional parents.

Dominating RI is not a big deal. Bruno,Bayside whatever.

Unless you're BFC. Then its a big deal.

Dont waste your breath arguing with BFC folks. Let them continue on their road, no effect on anyone else.

On the boys side nefc /blackwatch was gaining on bayside because they were getting kids from cf and providence. Lb on revs u14 is an example. Those kids and parents will not be traveling to taunton for
Training. Nefc teams will be good but when it comes to state cup forget about it.

Everyone know that Providence has a relation with Bayside. Bayside has 4 players currently with the Revs Academy. By that metric they must be doing something right in term of players development. 3 invited to the U.S. national team ID training. What clubs in RI can make that claim.
