Lasalle has by far the most Bayside players.

Basically the finals were played last night with LSA 1, NK 0.

Title game will be an afterthought.. LSA by 3 or 4 goals over SK

Same with D2..Moses Brown wins by 2 goals..and should be pushed up to D1 along with Classical, despite Classical's stumble in the semis..

I think MSC should move up before MB. Im pretty sure they have had stronger results the past several years. Definitely Classical though, multiple championships in ll and lll.

MSC was division 1 about 5 years ago. They went down hill because of poaching but they seem to have a good coach now ,so they should move up. Moses Brown has scholarship player that has raised their level and can compete at D1 . Classical ran into bad luck at semi's but they should also go up.

Woonsocket and Davies need to move up to D2.
Woonsocket is a big school . Davies pulls from 4 towns and has Lusitania president that recruits and keeps the kids playing all year round.

Well there's a surprise, LSA boys and girls in the finals. Pathetic that anyone would actually think that this is a noteworthy achievement. Congrats to SK and NK for being the top public school teams.

Good luck to SK carrying the public flag into the finals. It would have been real interesting the other night if LaSalle hadn't scored right out of the gate. NK looked like they had a solid plan to keep the game tight and see if the favorite could handle the pressure of the moment. All that being said, the kids from LaSalle are very talented, fun to watch and deserving of their spot in the final.

My suggestion is since the complaint surrounding LSA competitive advantage seen to always come from the southern RI maybe they should petition their town to merge and form a unitified soccer team from NK and SK. In so doing the pool of players will be larger and should be able to compete with the private schools.

"Unitified" was the big tip-off. GWB much?

We don't know just how talented the LaSalle boys are. They haven't played a single decent team all year. 15th in the country? I'd venture to say that they couldn't beat the 15th best team in Massachusetts or Connecticut.

That's the dumb post. There are 4 or 5 D1 kids on that team. I would venture to say the "Lasalle boys" are plenty talented. Sorry if they are too good and your kid would never see playing time on a team like that.

Sure, have the public schools with little to no budget change their structure to accommodate the well funded privates. How about the privates move to the independent leagues that exist for this purpose.
