You could look for help from your state reps, but there’s probably enough private school graduates in their ranks that you’d be hit with a million land mines before you ever got started. A more extreme approach would be to get enough grass roots support across the towns at the parent/student level to boycott the private games. This would take control out of the RIIL/Principals/Politicians hands and force the point.
Over and over again...

It would be interesting to see LSA and Hendricken teams play in Massachusetts Catholic Athletic Conference against the likes of St John's Prep, BC High, Malden Catholic, Xaverian. Or play the ISL teams like Rivers, Milton Academy, Nobles, Lawrence Academy. Then we could gauge how good their teams really are. Hard to tell if they have good teams with a steady diet of Cranston West, Cumberland, Portsmouth.

As mentioned earlier, no way will the privates give up the option of playing in RIIL and no way barring some scandal (anyone ever keep tabs on that $3M injury fund?) would RIIL be legislatively forced into a more independent status (ironically a General Assembly that will interject itself in the minutia of education in some areas but not in this major area).
In fact, it's going counter with the adoption of multi-sport athletes in the same season (a bias toward small and privates) and the lack of discussion on success based placement.

BH really needed to win the other night at NK; tough road with LSA ahead for BH and NK has one more game in hand to play against weaker opponents. NK - EG game at end of season could determine who is 3, 4, and 5 seeds..this is one year you'd rather be 3 and wait until the finals for LSA on rough grass at RIC

I can't stand LaSalle in general but have to agree. They look solid in their 11 and have something most teams don't which is two extremely fast scorers up top. Teams can overload defensively against one scorer but much harder to shut down two of them. Coach also seems to have a formation that plays to his strengths w/ 4-3-3. There's some inherent weaknesses there so never say never (see NK 2014) but LaSalle has to be the favorite.

Defenders need to be patient and cover their zones.
Let then shoot from far and have a good goalie and you will be in the game. Their weakest side is their left side defender but if you play on that side make sure it deep into their half because their best attacking players play on that side and they want you to operate in that space in mid so they can have their top two player win the ball closer to your goal

I guess we know which of the privates has bragging rights now. How many years has it been since Hendricken has been relevant in soccer? Maybe time to move to Div. 2 so they can battle with MB for top spot.
