Clothing had to be either no name with no logos or Nike. That goes for shorts, socks, shirts. Cleats and goalie gloves exempt from this requirement.

That was the request from Region 1, but there was no enforcement. There was plenty of Adidas and Puma gear being worn.

That's right - it was a request. Lots of folks followed the request. Lots of people ignored it.

As the poster previously said, if they make a request and families listen to the request to avoid issues, they end up going out and buying all Nike apparel on the registration day. Total BS on the part of Nike and Region 1 ODP and RI Soccer.

This program is such horse**** now it is clearly evident anyone who participates is interested only in posting on Facebook how their kid is in ODP.

            So why make the request?

Are there even teams for the 2001 and older age groups this year?

How did the kids get picked if there wasn't any tryouts?

Anyone participating? Especially in the girls age groups.

Yes, there are teams for those older age groups. My child was asked to participate, not sure how others were selected but I assume the same way.
