If they are playing NEP, they won't be playing state cup. NEP is no longer a qualifying league for state cup. Unless they play maple second division. As blackwatch did in the spring.
There will be a RI State Cup for US Club. Do your homework, kind of like you did in order to assess all the talent on Blackwatch and NEFC SC. Who cares what their name will be?

You are who you train with and play against. And for the BW U13s, playing weak Maple opponents and low brackets at tournaments define who you are. Oh and by the way, one if your best defenders was at Bayside South try out last night.

The top GU14 NEFC RI team will definitely be stronger than either the Blackwatch or NEFC SC Girls U13 teams ever were. They will play in a pretty high NEP division and for RI State Cup, and will be strong contenders in both based on what I saw at their tryouts. They won't catch Bayside's top U14 yet, but it might not be too long before this team, and the other teams in the new NEFC RI club will be a force in the state.

And no I'm not associated with either club, but sent my daughter to tryouts and was very impressed with the talent present.

Ok Nostradamus!! What a fool you are. You just gave us their whole season by watching tryouts. Either you are delusional or you are the coach predicting what will happen. Blackwatch team was not good and nefc SC wasn't much better. You might not be able to get by Bayside South. They beat BW 3-0 in state cup. Not sure why the better players on that team didn't come to Bayside and play NPL.

None of them would have made the team.
