I had heard it was canceled but not 100% sure. I was at the Men's game and it was pretty cool. The kids enjoyed it.

The women's game had to be rescheduled. Apparently Cranston double-booked the field.

No word yet on a new date, but there's another game on the schedule for this coming Saturday 5/24/14 at 2:00pm.

I wonder if the field will be double booked this weekend?

Let's hope the City of Cranston was smart enough to double check the Cranston Stadium schedule after last weekends debacle.

Reds got schooled 6-1 by a team from Trumbull, CT (after a 50 min. rain & lightning delay).

Reds have an away game Sunday 6/1 in Waterbury, CT

Oddly, RI is not in the much stronger division which contains the MA teams. Many players on the 3 teams form MA and on the team in NH play college soccer in either MA or RI, but the Reds failed to attract these players. Not sure why, since it seems that some of the RI players that are driving to the Boston area or further north to NH might have found a welcome home in Cranston.

Tied 0-0 in CT last night. CT team not nearly as good as last game.

I was ready to "strangle" the woman next to me. Every time one of the CT players hit the ground it was "Yellow Card! That's dirty! Yellow Card!" Really? Your daughter has obviously been playing for a while and you still can't tell a foul from legit play? (She even called for a yellow card when one of the CT players took out both legs of one of the Reds players who had just put a beautiful passing move on the CT player and was trying to get around her to the ball.) Funny thing was that it wasn't even a particularly physical game.

After watching the Reds for a couple of games I would say that the team is something of a work in progress. Also, looking at some of the Mass rosters the Reds seem young by comparison.

The Reds are young but have potential. Some D1 college players from RI (of which there are at least 4 playing in MA/NH) or players from southern MA would be a welcome addition.

Pretty sure the best of Baysides Girl's U17/U18 teams could beat them by 10 goals.

                                Jus sayin'
