The kid has been hurt most of the year and even if she did play the full season, she's a second tier sophomore forward. May be great as a senior but a long time to go.

If there was ever a year of mediocrity look at the fact that LaSalle and SK both tied a team that didn't even qualify for playoffs in a conference where 80% of teams make the first round.

EWG verses EG. All East RI cup final with college quality talent. knights verses hawks with the advantage going to the new D1 supercharged knights!!! Both BVA and LSA will fall due to offensive inadequacy!!!!! Refs should be for warned of the infamous theatrical BV flop!!!!!! It is unreal D1 players major in soccer and minor in wimsical penalty kicking fradulent flops to obtain unsportsmanlike advantages. It would be nice if Adam Sandler turns the flopping Bengals into a spoof movie culminating in a state cup! First the coach talks to the dawgs. Then the refs have a obedience lesson to set the stage and malign a few good souls. My team mom said " your a soccer bully bobbina" . You all devil dawgs don't brush your teeth with lousiana cajun water. My momma says to defriend you. The school committee son tries to reason with his mom to not call the school AD' and don't flip a mamary gland. It almost mimics water boy with a sense of human darkness for victory at all costs. Of course everyone realizes this is hypothetical and the characters have been changed to protect the parody of innocence!!!

Let's see, LSA did have anemic offense this year..most goals they scored in a game was only 4..against, wait a minute, oh yeah, EWG..

Congrats to EWG on making it to the semis with the shootout win ..nice experience in D1 because the next few years will be more 3-9-2 instead of 9-2-3..

Defense would be the achilles heel of the EWG. It used to be you could contain one player and keep them under control, but now they appear to have spread out their attack. That was smart. If they can tighten up the back line and the mids, maybe......

You people are insane we're talking about talent this year that is going to Iona. I just saw something the other day about a past EWG all stater and how she was player of the week at that powerhouse Fitchburg State.

Really people, McKenzie Meehan ain't walking through that door any time soon. The talent today pales in comparison to what you saw even 2-3 years ago.

Maybe you and your daughter can edit some of the RIIL video that will be taken during semi finals. Pretend she's the one on the field scroing goals, and not the one fetching you your twelfth hot dog of the game, you fat ass.

Best predictions this season (more than 30 days old)

Looks like NK merely put off their mid-season decline by a week. Their performance last night was mediocre. They will lose to Smithfield, and EG and LSA will soundly defeat them. They'll be a solid 6th or 7th seed come late October. SK will be in the mix at 8 or 9 seed.

portsmouth coach has squandered some awesome talent the past five years, teams way better than this one. count them out, he is the worst

Truly a very foolish post. Come back after Smitfheld and Prout tie 1-1 and tell me who the strong players are. NK will put up far greater numbers then Smithfield. EG? Not impressive this year

EWG will maybe go 6-8 at best, but won't sneak into postseason

not hard to know that LaSalle is stacked, EG has decent talent but hate their coach, NS will fall off the cliff this year without AJ, SK will bully their way to a couple wins, SMBV will be best coached with decent talent and surprise a lot of people again, Prout is a wildcard based on impact of graduation and injuries, EWG team is about to wake up to a nightmare, NK has great talent but will underachieve as always, Portsmouth will still be overrated, Bristol can be in the mix if they actually play hard and get some decent coaching, and then there's the rest that no one cares about: cumberland, cranston west.

Pretty close in the end..except for EWG..and Smithfield only teetered on the edge but did not fall off..

Well, if you mean there are no star players that can carry a team to a title and upset a truly better team..then go back to 2006 and 2007 with Scituate and Mt Hope..

There may be better aggregate talent, but either it's more on the defensive side or the impact of some of these horrible coaches who are now in their 2-4 years are finally showing up..
