Rams is the best program in the state...
What other program charges 1600 and only plays 2 tournaments! Unless they find some extra money at the end of the season and you can play a bayside Father's Day tournament Lmao

Not sure why people fall for programs like this!! I mean they are combining two age groups into one team, that's what they do in town. Do you think Rams FC can beat any of the top teams around with half the team that has younger kids on it? If you want to play with friends fine but to pay $1600 to do it is absurd. Then on top of it, they are playing in Maple against town teams. My prediction is Rams, Bayside United and Tidal Wave will last 1 maybe 2 more years and then they will fold.

RAMS will change after GE can put his stamp on it..but for now, he has to focus on turning around the college program and getting some good recruiting classes in as finishing at the bottom of A10 is not going to keep his job (and MN knows this on girls side).

But yes, the u16 team with 2 age groups and kids who are for the most part not even Varsity HS players is going to be challenged..even in MAPLE 3..same with their u13 G using kids from 2 age groups..

the u17 are still a lot of u16s as well..but look at the coaching..compare SR's credentials to even TW or BW, let along BFSC coaches at those age groups..what exactly are you paying $1600 for is right..it is mainly a bunch of players from 2-3 high schools who want to stay together..which is fine, but you could organize that under SC or Portsmouth with a better coach for 25% the cost..

Sounds like an SD run club just like BU.

No club with 6 teams will get into NEP.

                    From Rams FC Web Site

They do not train or play in the fall unless the coach decides to do it on his own.

                    FALL SEASON: (Mid November-Late December)

Following the ending of High school soccer ALL Rams FC teams will resume technical training via the Fall Academy Program. Soccer development, as we all know, is a year round process, technical training will be offered on a selected night starting in late October ending mid December at URI. The Academy Program is open to all youth players whether members of RAMS FC or not but is a vital part of the Rams FC training program. In addition, Rams FC teams will train one additional night outside as weather allows.

What? So the three teams that can play in the fall are not playing. So rams FC just plays when they want. All teams from U10-U14 play in the fall except them.

Wow..$1500 does not get you what it does at other clubs! DOC who is just a hs coach with only a D license..young college players as assistants..no fall play.. parents should at least ask for the portion that goes straight into men's URI program to be identified so they could write it off their taxes! The older boys paid for $1550 to play in MASC?

Don't use the fact the coaches are HS coaches..other clubs have coaches with fall responsibilities with other organizations..BW has MY whose team is in MAPLE for the fall..

Younger kids should not be a big deal..but the u13 team..how can they get a spot unless it is at the bottom..and then why would you be in a club that settles for that..town teams are in higher brackets at u13..

Also, as pointed out, what other premier club does *not* play in the fall with younger age groups??

That's too bad, the RAMS U12 boys team just got an influx of talent from South County, East Greenwich and EWG town teams. An already good team, just became the RAMS only legitimate state cup challenging boys team.
