It just has to get better with the soccer officiating in RI. I know we have a shortage but even still, some of these guys/gals have no business reffing. The girls middle school championship. 3 refs and they can't count to 5 between them. Embarassing!!

Not sure why parents from either team let that mistake slide. Lincoln parents should have done the right thing and said wait noooooo this is not how we want to win. Finish the game. Instead they celebrated their “victory”.

The refs who blew calls all night blew another one and ended the game ONE ROUND of PKs early with Lincoln ahead 3-2 and declared them the winner. Lincoln parents aren’t at fault here, if we’re looking to blame anyone other than the refs the blame falls on Charihos head coach for EVER allowing his team to leave the field without a 5th PK. How does he not immediately run up to the refs and question it? You can see clear as day on the NFHS replay he doesn’t argue it until the girls are in the handshake line. Great sportsmanship shown there.
Sure thing though, Lincoln parents should have been the ones to run onto the field and make them take their 5th PK. Just like they should be offering up a “co champ” title LOL

Only 4 kicks were had by each team, please, make this right!!” I mean how dumb do you have to be? You think RIIL Officials would allow a parent on the field? You think it’s the parents job to officiate the game when they announce beforehand for parents to not get involved?
