needs to get beyond the northeast and find some recruits, not one player from further than NJ on roster.
Bet you the two RI Scorps ECNL players aren't feeling too good right now about chances to land a commitment to PC in the next year.
Best laid plans...

PC

found this link on the Massachusetts pages. Interesting, but I think PC ws very much slighted by not being on the list of elite schools.

Second, the site is mainly for highly academically selective schools so most of the publics (even if the public is strong academically) are not going to be listed. My first guess is their business model correlates "family looking at selective college and playing high level soccer" equals "has money to spend on a service like this" and my second guess (which I don't know) is those colleges may have to pay as well to be listed (get to advertise their camp and filters out their recruiting if it is true the site only attracts student-athletes who are strong academically and have some $$).
I have no doubt PC would qualify based on their academics for at least a 2 star rating (looking at their rating chart metrics), but maybe PC chooses not to pay based on the recruiting processes already in place.

Anyone can go on to usnews, alumnifactor, or forbes, and find out quickly what the top schools are. That does not meant they are the "best" schools for everyone, but they have met some pre-determined standard and been labeled as the top. No one is going to go to this elite soccer website to learn what the most selective schools are, but they may be able to validate what they think they already know.
This whole "best school" thing is really a lot of status crap. In real life, it's all about the individual, interviewing skills, work ethic, interpersonal skills. Where you went to college doesn't make a difference after you land your first job.

check out the alumni factor. It cuts through the perceptions and gets to the exact things you are talking about.
