Not the OP, but the sarcasm is that many youth soccer coaches claim to have played Lasa league. The insinuation is they played professionally and that Lasa was a professional league. You can't find any records of who played Lasa. The leagues level of professionalism and play is subject to debate. They use Lasa as a way to build up their soccer resumes if they didn't play college ball. This thread pokes fun of the Bruno coach JTwho claims to have played professionally but there is no record of that.

I've looked and haven't found anything. JT may have fabricated his "professional" playing experience, which is a big black mark for the club IMO.

I'm sure he made up the whole thing. But he'll never be called out on it.

So can someone shed some light on what Bruno is doing for training or development in the Winter? Are they playing indoor, futsal,???? Especially looking on the girls side. Can't find much info.

Winter training

There must not be a lot going on at other clubs this winter, or this subject wouldn't be up for discussion. My kid's team has team training 2 hours/week, fitness & conditioning 1x/week, indoor league, 3 indoor tournaments, and futsal training. And yes, that's just with Bruno. We feel like we're getting our $ worth. Nice parents & kids too. Don't see that many places these days...All you have to do is read this thread to see what's out there. Low IQ and big Egos = not a Very good combination.

I see many new coaches at Bruno who have a bit of a diversity. Looks like they are really focusing on the boys from the inner city .Taking a play from the old Bayside play book I see.
