A Good Opportunity for the Bayside girls and Surf girls who
    want to tryout.Congratulations.

Bayside FC's top Girls' teams between u13-u19 will be playing in the ECRL Northeast Division starting in the 2023-2024 season. The ECRL Northeast Division is a new division of the ECNL platform.
Tryouts are for all girls in the birth years 2012-2005.

Which team will head over? 2010s Liverpool Impact or 2010s Surf? Which ever team heads to Bayside first (as a team) is smart. Impact and DPL won’t get you the opportunities and visibility the ECNL/ECRL
    pathway will.

Impact and DPL are the same. Two leagues with very little opportunity to be seen by coaches. ECRL is great, if you are with Northeast region who plays teams like Susa, Stars, World Class etc… those players who are top of their ECRL teams have opportunities to play on tournaments and practices with their clubs national teams. In MA if you want to play for a club with national ECNL you need to be on Scorpions or Stars. Bayside does not have ECNL so yes for Bayside ECRL Northeast is a possible step in the right direction but does not have opportunities for national play same as impact and DPL.

        order
        1. ECNL then GA national teams (Stars, NEFC, Select, Scorpions) MA clubs. ECNL best option and Stars blue best of best option.

        2. ECRL New England (Stars and Scorpions) best option for mid to higher level not quite national level but opportunities are there. Stars blue regional usually best of these options but can vary based on birth year.

        3. ECRL Northeast, DPL, Impact
(None of these leagues help you get much college exposure, not really but coaches won’t tell you that.)

        4. NECSL / town competitive

#3 is the biggest myth out there athletes make their own college exposure teams can help but it is not all that is out there, especially on the east coast where schools are like dunkin. .Grades are #1 especially on the east coast then going to the smaller id clinics are next if you can play coaches will pick you out. Athletes do not need ECNL\ GA but they do need to be more proactive if they are not on one of those teams. Their are thousands of players on non ECNL/ GA teams that play in college

Ok Surf parent. We know we know this is what your coach has told you since you have no national pathway.

not a surf parent but ok....what national pathway does Bayside have.....zero because the scorpions are not bayside and ECRL and DPL are the same except that Surf will probably retain more players oh wait did your coach tell you that your daughter would be playing ECNL

Only in a "let's try to over-hype ECRL2 so it can take your money" sort of way.

Also hopelessly generic, for something that depends on location and age year.
