    Girls U12 Parents Resource Thread

For all the u12 parents that have become active participants on the board over the last couple months - here are a couple tidbits to keep in mind while contributing to the TS community:

    1. For 99.9% of you, none of this will matter as your kids are really not that good in the grand scheme of things and highly unlikely to make varsity as a freshman nevermind play college.

    2. Size and aggression matter at GU12 - by GU14 most clubs have a couple large girls and your kid will actually have to play soccer with 21 other players on a real-size field.

    3. 75% of the players on your child's "best team in RI" will not be playing by u15 - when you realize the dream is over, you may be stuck with the reality that the teams you are bashing may be the best home for your player in the future.

    4. Y'all are annoying as hell and post with the wit of a 10 watt bulb. If you are going to carve up 12-year old girls, at least be more creative and try to use spell check. Go check the RI High School thread when the season gets going or even better, the Florida thread to see how it's really done.

    5. Again, none of this matters - chill the hell out and get back to work so you pay those ODP program and camp fees next year (which also doesn't matter and is a fraud).

At no time should ANYONE be carving out any player...U12 or otherwise. These are 12 year old girls, not professional athletes making millions of dollars to perform and bring their teams a championship. The athletes can take it. They make the money so they know it comes with the territory. Kids are different. Kudos to the parent who spoke up in defense of her child.

As for the .01% of the kids who are good in the "grand scheme of things," thanks for keeping your premier club in business.

Settle down soccer Mom - the point of the post is for these noob parents to knock it off - they're ridiculous.

They are our daughters we will do anything for them no matter their age for soccer. Just because they arent in highschool does not mean they don't play real soccer. For these girls at this age it is a big deal for them. So if you don't like the posts then don't read them. Simple.

Dumbest post ever - we love our girls so much we come on talking soccer and brag about how great they are and carve up others that aren't on our team.

Don't act like this is about your kid - this is about you.

The good thing about forums is that the kids are too cool and not stupid enough to get into these moronic conversations about who is better than who.

When I was a linesman a few years ago at a semi final game . One of the soccer mom came up to me and told me to tell the center line men that she was getting a lawyer to sue because of the hand ball the center line man made and that cost here daughter the game . The game was a u19 and the girl were mostly in college or getting ready to go .

            leave the kids alone !!!!

There are a lot of moronic posts on TS by a lot of blowhards but you can always tell the crazy, super sensitive soccer mom posts. They are completely out of their mind and actually take all the banter around here seriously.

BTW - there is some serious banter in the CT "Worst Coach Ever" thread - go check that out if you haven't already. No matter how bad you think your kid's coach is - hopefully it doesn't compare to some of the allegations surfacing there by a mom.
