curious why the D1 girls semi-finals are at East Greenwich (possibly a home game for them)?
CCRI is done by then so why not ask to use their field in Lincoln or why not give some incentive to improving your final seeding by making the semi-final at the higher seed's field?
While turf fields give the benefit of any turn in the weather, it would not take much to find some neutral natural turf alternatives and prevent a situation where a potential semi-finalist of a lower seed is playing a "home" game.

Toally agree, turf is a huge advatage for the homew team. If you are a "grass" team and play none or maybe 1 game on turf vs. a team that plays 7 games on turf, that is a huge advatage for the turf team.
Also, games between two non turf teams, plyed on turf, are typically horrible affairs anyway. I really is a shame that these games can't be played on a grass field

Watched Prout take it to LaSalle last week for most of the first half and then ran out of steam in second half as they gassed playing on LaSalle's regulation sized field without a lot of subs.
Not surprised they beat Portsmouth at home where their lack of bench subs is offset by a postage sized field.
