i wouldn't say prout totally dominated but they did hit the post twice and their all state player did put one right into the keepers belly when she was all alone in the box. Could easily been 4-1

Prout certainly didn't look great (more like out of shape) but they did carry most of the play- not sure what the TG fan was watching, maybe JV game?

Expect some surprises on Tuesday. Smithfield will rebound with a 6-2 win over Prout. Toll Gate will tame the NK overrated express, and another homegrown RI player will pop the over inflated EWG bubble. Burrillville 6 - EWG 5. LaSalle will be stunned--more details to follow. If memory serves, she actually took the shot at the very edge of the 18, she may have even started her motion outside the 18, so it isnt like she missed from 5 feet away.

And if we are playing the if and buts game, TG was denied a clear penalty, so that pendulum could also have swung to a 2-2 draw

You TG parents have to get over yourselves. You lost to a team that hadn't even played agame yet and looked totally out of shape. Be lucky you caught them early and not 10 games in or you could have been blown out. And stop whining about penalties, you get your share of calls too, all teams do.

Cranston West has 16 players that are either SO or FR..not sure what happened to the JR class there, but hardly the makings for an upset..tough week for them with L-S and NK on the schedule..

If you really want to split hairs, I'd argue the one TG goal was a fluke as the cross literally bounced off a leg as she was running in front the net - guess what, it's still a goal. No one cares how it went in.

This much be the TG coach posting - she wasn't even off the field before she was complaining about the reffing the other day.

Maybe today's beatdown at the hands of NK will help you get over the Prout game.

Mr/Mrs I have rarely been wrong in the past your record is 0-3-0 but there is hope for you TG-NK game not completed yet. I would give you a half of point because Smithfield did win but only 2 -1, LaSalle 2 CW 0, EWG 7 Burrillville 1.
