Most interesting thing about the list is that all the team's records ar 0-0-0. All opinion, no fact.

I would think that LA will drop off the list pretty fast once they play a few games...All BS (including our opinions) until they start playing games.

Lucky for them the rain helped them avoid their first loss on Tuesday.... :)

grabbed a copy of the Standard Times this morning on the way to work . They seem to think that there is no need to even have any games this season.. They've already crowned the D1 and D2 champion .

Based on what? I can assure you that the pollsters have never seen this team play. That ranking is based entirely on reputation and that reputation moved to Chesnut Hill last month

I look at that LaSalle roster and see girls that were cut by my kids premier team a couple years ago. Now they own 1 of the 18 coveted roster spots on the 17th best team in the country?

I think Barrington was the one sending a message, broadcasting to the rest of the division that they are in fact one of the bottom 5 teams. You'll get some good gaames and NK-EG will be one of them, just like NK-LSA, but I hope you don't think that NK will win by 7, or even win!

Toll Gate is a scrappy team with a couple really good athletes - and a bad coach.

Prout looked out of shape both physically and formation wise. Heard it was their first time even putting 11 players in a formation this season - coach doesn't believe in full field practices or scrimmages I guess.

Blonde striker for Prout looked pretty good but missed a couple open nets.

NK played well--no doubt about it. But the real surprise was how hollow and ineffective the entire Barrington team looked. NK might as well hav ebeen playing s U12 superliga team. There has been way too much trumpeting of NK in the local press and on this site. Any disciplined team and coach should try their best to put an end to this type of thing. There are a few good teams in d1 (and only a few) that might be able to step up and knock an over inflated ego down a notch or two.

i was at this game--NK clearly has the strongest team that they have ever had. From the coach to pretty much every position on the field, NK has what it takes to get to the finals. I foresee one challenge--Lasalle. Other teams will give a good game, but NK has shown that they have what it takes this year acorss the board. Some humility woul dbe helpful but they are the real deal. Fly like a Skipper!
