what is going on with Smithfield? Is the loss of there best player really that much of a blow to this team? Talk to the coach--he just hopes that the team makes the playoffs. They were awful in summer league and so far no one has stepped up to the plate to lead this team. They are setting them selves up for embarassment at the hands of EG, NK, SK, and Lasalle again. Did the two sisters from Smithfield play in the LaSalle game? If not, I wouldn't put too much value in that being reflective of the team's potential. We all know, 1-2 outstanding players, especially in the middle of the field, can make a big difference on the entire team. Both of them are impact players.Comment

The person who displayed his/her list in post #149 calling out "the other scorer who will try to do it all but continue to be ineffective", not sure who they are referring to but the scrimmage vs Smithfield blew up that theory. Clearly a know-it-all, but don't you love how the crazies come full circle? Last few years all the Ram haters spewed their venom about how they recruit and give scholarships so of course they win it all. But now two young ladies graduated, they have no chance! Pretty sure there were a bunch of other talented players on the field, and the twins couldn't do it all by themselves. Rams will be lead by two talented seniors with 3 and 4 years of varsity experience, one a regional semi-finalist with her club team...very solid. Also have several really talented juniors coming up, and the usual freshmen who come in, looking to find a spot. But it's okay, make them the underdog....Originally posted by Unregistered View Post
