I'm feeling pretty good about the predictions based on the first couple weeks play. Portsmouth is surprising so far though - I didn't have them in the top 6, but probably should have.

Match-up of week may be Prout/South Kingstown on Thursday

    Original Picks
    1. North Kingstown
    2. Smithfield
    3. East Greenwich
    4. South Kingston
    5. LaSalle
    6. Prout

You are not giving lasalle much of a chance.

LaSalle has a solid midfield & defense but no shooters. Lots of kids on the bench but the coach seems determined to rely on the same ones whose shots go over the goal, are shot right at the goalie, etc. Its going to be a long season for them

You don't seem to be a LaSalle fan or parent so why have you watched both their games to give us this analysis. Its either that or you are assuming this is what's happening.

going into week 4 and Lasalle does not have a player on the Projo list of Top Scorers? Not a good sign for the mighty Rams.

That theory migth work against teams like smithfield or coventry but wait for EG or NK to roll into town.

EG aint all that, could only score 1 against TG. If I were you I think I might reconsider EG being top three

At the risk of exposing myself to the wrath of Prout parents, I am not sure Prout has the scoring punch to be 6th either. I think 6th will come down to how the middle 5 fair against the top 5. If one of the middle 5 can steal a couple wins or a win and a couple drawns against the top 5 that may be the difference.

ewg isnt what it used to be. I suspect that window may have closed for them

agreed except the Projo still love little old EWG so expect lots of coverage every time they score a goal

This is accurate - I suspect they will have a couple draws based on the strength of their defense and tackling. Will be tough to win playoffs although I will say they have a lot more opportunities than their GF shows - lots of missed shots.

                                Too Early

The original predictions look good, but it's early. New varsity players will develop confidence, and experienced players will suffer injuries as the season progresses.

NK is the only team whose offense has not been cowed by someone (but they haven't played the iron of the division). EG was in this category until they could only score 1 against Toll Gate. Portsmouth took down South at SK, which is a big-girl win. Smithfield hasn't been scoring. Neither has LaSalle, and they haven't played anyone, either. NK has the roughest schedule, with SK, Smithfield, EG, and LaSalle on the road, all within 2 weeks.

Should be a very, very interesting over the net few games!
