I just read these posts to LOL at the spelling.
People trying to act intelligent while they misspell at least 6-10 words per post.

Thanks for the entertainment and I think Bayside should give English lessons on the side.

Not trying to put anyone down just trying to get the facts straight. My daughter play for Nefc and is a RI kid her team is considered the 3rd best team. I know the team you played and they might be the worst team at nefc in the 13 age bracket. dont shoot your mouth off about how you beat nefc 4th place team in Maple when #1 the worst team plays second division and Maple is a joke my daugthers teams finished 1st in the first Division and the teams were now ehre as good as our top two team or even bayside for that matter. Congrats on your win but dont get ahead of yourself. PA will be a eye opener for your hole team. Bayside is a good group and they cant compete with ma top 5 teams at U13.[/QUOTE]

You might want to rewrite this post. Wow!

You need to get a life. If we all need to worry about spell check and proper grammers then we would not be here on TS.

That would be great, more posts from people who understand the game and are not Bayside we have the foot skill homers.

I am assuming you are a child given your post. You should be proud of your team just as my daughter should. I wasn't the OP I just came to say I wish people could stop being negative all the time. I could care less what team is what in NEFC and I never said what would happen in PA...I said win or lose we are proud of the girls. I know I'm not the "typical TS poster" since I have no desire to put anyone down or start issues so I'll be on my way. Will I see you in PA?? Didn't one of the NEFC teams win MA Cup?

Look at a team's web site for board contacts and contact several for more information. Ask around for opinions of anyone that played in that organization.

Avoid any town teams that do not list board members and provide BM contacts...yes some organizations are doing this. If they have a reason to stay anonymous until after you pay $ to join then they are hiding something.

This is so true, also make sure the website is up to date, we were screwed last year signed up paid the money for a specific coach and the coach left within a few weeks for another team. Get every thing in writing! Thee is one particular club hurting for players and he still lists the former coach to try to entice people to join.....

                        Best Premier

Good advice. Word of mouth from parents is important. Talk to parents about their experiences with various clubs. The biggest complaint I have heard about Bayside and Bruno is coaching, that coaches are more inclined to be micromanagers and tell their players what to do on the field vs teaching them what to do. If a player is good enough to be on a Premier team, they should already have a stong enough skill set to play the game.

I've heard some good stuff about Blackwatch boys teams but the girls team is so/so.

One other point - does the club leadership make it a point to communicate with you besides sending an invoice or offering "extra" (meaning more $) services? Really, you have a team win state cup and you don't even bother to come over..don't stop by at tournaments, etc..

LOL you are clueless good coaches challenge their players to think situations through on their own with guidance. This is the framework of coaching youth soccer from U8's through to college. coaches that teach players what to do on the field end up with 11 robots. If your looking for your kid to coaches like they are a robot then good luck to you. coaches like that are bad for youth soccer. Most if not all Bruno, Bayside and Blackwatch coaches are very good at teaching the game without developing robots. You want a robot coach then go to Superliga.

Then I dont know what happened to one of these high ranking club coaches who coached supeliga last year in anchor. He was telling is boys team when to overlap ,when to pass, when to dribble. Maybe he doesn't do it in club play because you are paying customers and he wants to give the impression he is developing

It's fine for him to develop lesson plans with these skills at practice but he should not be shouting what to do and when to do it during games.

Here is the 'D' license manual for anyone who cares to read it. At the bare minimum it's what parents should expect of their premier coach as they should at the very least have this license. better if they have 'C' and above but the 'D' at a minimum.
