Do YOUR research. Those were the U11's playing up a division. They are also going to regionals as an alternate team. They will get great exposure and experience as the youngest team in the field.

If you go to the Soccer Rhode Island website. It should tell you the State Cup winners.

This year, Bayside won U12-U16 on the boys side, U12, U15, U16 on the girls side. In total have won 18 State Cups in the last 2 years.

I can tell you that the talk on most soccer game sidleines in the state tht I came from was focused on why this club called "Bayside" that I 've heard so much about is not yet in the ECNL. We took bets on how long it would take, most people thinking one or two more years

There are 2 different Bayside organizations, not sure which one you are looking at, one is decent and one is awful huge turnover, lousy coaching. And talking with our Coach many are looking to tryout with us this year....I guess every one wants to join a WINNER!!!! State Cup Champs!!!!

I would guess based on the hundreds of people that have expressed interest in this club (Bayside I think is the name) that you will have kids from MA, CT and possibly even NH, and maybe even VT coming to your tryouts. Get ready! You guys must be doing something right. It's great to finally move to a state that knows soccer. NJ was behind the power curve but RI has it in the bag.

People, I don't think most of you are that nieve but this is a troll trying to bait people. No need to respond because anyone who moves into an area has already done there homework. Prole know where to go, it's obvious.

it could be a troll, but the fact that the name of the club called Bayside has gotten around as one of the top region 1 clubs, and maybe top 5 nationally, is quite possible. Maybe it just sounds like a troll but it could be someone from NJ that really came to RI to get a chance to experience the Bayside culture and winning tradition. If so, welcome to the Ocean State, the home of Bayside!

I know but when people respond it feeds the hate mongers and this thread pops up every year and it's the same old people but little do the realize people know where to go and only 1% of soccer people come on this site. Bayside had a record number of kids at tryouts last year and will be the same this year. There were on average 30 kids at each age group trying out last year x 20 teams is 600 kids.

                    Bayside Brochure Thread.

Oh my God, Bayside will stop at nothing to self promote. Including this thread started by the err Conn. poster. It is the most incredible thing I ever read. Piece it together and it sounds like a brochure they would put on their site. LMAO. It is true, desperate people do desperate things and yes to do this, they are desperate.

Actually, that is true. There is a thread in the MA boards about tournaments and parents boozing on the sidelines. Someones response....Looks like Bayside FC parents checked in. So yes, they have really made a name for themselves in MA

                                Please - nice troll.
