My daughter is 12 and is top player on top CT team. What would be the best options in RI?

How do RI clubs stack up to CT and MA? Do the top clubs play any games out of state??

Go play in mass or conneticut depending where you live nothing much around here. Nobody in RI can compete except for a few teams which are not all centered to one club (don't listen about state champs it is a very easy thing to do in RI) Do your research!!! Many kids (not all) realize what's better and go to mass or conneticut.

OP here. I'll be 15 min west of providence so I don't think going back to ct is option. We were west of Hartford ct. What is best club for 12 yr old who played up. What clubs are in ct and near borders?

OP, just do your own research by visiting several clubs. Don't ask on here as this site is nothing but a venomous waste of bits and bytes. You are very unlikely to get an honest answer out of many people and the rest will espouse one particular club only, vilifying the rest. If that doesn't teach you something, you'll get what you deserve by picking one club over another based on the nastiness here.

What do you mean playing up? If she is playing with the kids from her grade then in reality she is not playing up. If she is playing with kids a grade ahead od her then she is playing up! I know RI Soccer does the Birthday cut off thing, but that really hurts the kids when they get to high school...

when I say playing up I mean she is better than her peers and so must play with older kids. Sounds like most responses have been favorable to a club called "Bayside". I had heard of this club while travelling throughout region 1 but did not realize we had moved to a location that would actually allow us to play for the team. How many state cups did this club win?
