If your child is any good, those teams will welcome her with open arms, and many of the parents will become very friendly.
One other thing you need to consider. Town politics. My experience in town has not been that good. Sometime it is not based on your kids skills but who you know.

Stay away from Town. I can guarantee that the coaches daughter and her buddies will be the "best" players on the team.

That is so true, we have one that came to our team this year and all we hear is when I coached blah, blah, blah. My kid is the best, blah blah blah, Pick a team that will challenge your kids. Go to as many tryouts as you can.

There are some Fathers Day Tournaments this weekend. Might be good for anyone new to the Premier Soccer scene to check out a couple of games. Bayside FC is sponsoring one in Bristol and MPS has one at Bryant college. The Bryant event includes GPS Fathers Day Showcase inconjunction with the VW Jr. Masters. The Bayside tournament will be an excellent comparison between Premier and Town teams.

            Ecnl

My daughter was just offered a position on the Scorpions ECNL U16 team. The coach has only seen her play a couple of times. Is this a money grab or is it worth it?

That team stinks. The stars 16 ecnl team light years better. Might as well stay with bayside

Before checking out any soccer opportunities, how about knocking out a few basic English language classes at a local community college.

That's amazing since tryouts did not start until today. She must be quite the player. Let me guess-she is only 9 but is playing up a few years. Wow--congratulations!

I think that for many posters on this site this is their only opportunity to write. They just need to go a little slower and carefully read what they wrote. I try to look past the writing flaws, although some are pretty funny. One of the smartest and creative people I know can't write to save his life.

I sometimes write/read posts in the bathroom on my driod with a small keyboard during my breaks. I apologize in advance for my public education ,daddy was a truck driver!

Hey, no problem. We all have to work to pay for club soccer.

Not all town teams have parent coaches. There are a few that hire and pay professional top notch coaches and don't allow parent's to coach competitive teams.

You aren't looking very hard. It's pretty common knowledge that Barrington only hires and pays for professional coaches and does not allow parents to coach their own kids.
