Honestly, where does this team go from here? I mean this was a wake up call. They obviously can't play with the big girls. Do they stay in the blue division next year and play teams like SSS or drop down to the white division and play Nova?

I don't have a girl. I have boys who play for another club who just won the state cup. I gave you MY opinion of a great team. A great team CERTAINLY does not look to humiliate the other children, BFC!!!!

No one was looking to humiliate any children. Posters are way out of control on this thread. This was a state championship game, not an exhibition. I don't think the children were hurt in this at all. Not nearly as bad as the parents feelings seem to be hurt. I'm sure the girls will all be fine and go on to live happy lives.

Not a BU parent but they lost ONE game. They beat the town team that BFC couldn't. They are 11 and 12 years old. Why panic? If BFC loses at the regionals perhaps THEY should get the same treatment. Maybe all their girls should start playing for real teams in Mass.

Exactly, and should be proud. They earned it by playing real teams and not pretending to be a good team by play lousy competition. Who cares if they lose in the regionals but getting beat 7-0 in a championship game is another story.
