This appears to have originated on the MASS board, which says all you need to know. It doesn't really make sense. The final posted score doesn't even indicate it was a close game.

Why does this not surprise me? The coach has always been classless so makes sense that some of the parents are the same way...ridiculous!

I was sitting up on the hill overlooking the game (next to the parking lot) about 20 TD's away from the father in question when it happened. I felt ashamed that I was up there because of what he said. The SC coach had to walk across the field and yell up to the group of parents from his team and tell them to leave that area after the ref had words with him. My gut feeling is that the other parents aren't too fond of him because he was only with 2 or 3 other fathers. Someone he said something similar at an indoor game at WWIS to an injured player from the opposing team. BTW I'm a SC parent from the U13 team that was playing same tourney. Sounds like a typical "one bad apple " spoils the bunch situation. I was very embarrassed to be a SC parent and quickly left the area after the incident

Not sure exactly what the Parent from SC said, but he/they definitely had to be spoken there by the coach and ref. I will say that the coach must have said something after that game because my daughter and I watched their next game the next day and no one said a word. It was strangely quiet on the parent side the whole game.

Got awfully quiet in here!! Look I'm not particularly a fan of SC or this coach in particular, but I wouldn't rush to blame the Club or Coach because one of their fathers is an ***hole!!which it appears he is.
