Look under standings, that will give you the brackets.

          Girls Picks:

          U12 SS - Portsmouth
U12 11v11 - Bayside (talk about an easy draw)

U13 - Bayside, but this is a really close one

          U14 - South County

U15 - Bayside, kind of a toss up again

          U16 - Bayside

          U17 - Bruno

          U18 - Tidal Wave

Sad showing for the U15G. Never seen such a small state cup draw for this age group.

Good old SRI and the 3-town rule can take the blame for that.

As much as I hate the 3 communities rule, it would not make a different. Don't see many teams can compete with Bayside U15.

please...... and they're going all the way to the nationals, right? they will get hammered in region 1, way out of their league. just because you beat up on ri town teams doesn't mean you're ready for the big boys (girls)

The 3 - town rule does not apply to town teams U14 and older. You don't know what you're talking about.

Who said anything about about regional or national. The fact is they did pretty will last year at regional. Beat Seacoast, ME 3-1, Lost to Oakwood 1-0 and Maryland 0-2 so hammered is a bit incorrect. They hold their own after the Maryland debacles. This is the same team that won Region 1 U13 in 2010. As for RI SC bracket , all I am saying is there not many teams in RI that can match up will with them so why waste the $575. Bristol could have enter as team but choose not to and they were the 2nd best team in RI.

What are you talking about? they didn't even win state cup at u13, the rays beat them. they've never played in a region 1 league before this year.

U13 was their first year playing as a team and they made it to the SC Championship. Not bad for a new team. They added new talents every year since. This year alone the team added 6 new players. Last year Ray was RI region 1 rep as RI SC champ. As a team going on their 3rd year now playing region 1 is a great achievement. Some teams never get the opportunity.

A clarification is in order. When a team plays Region I, the assumption is they are in the Region I Premier League, or at least the subregional league.
