So do tell, who will be the final two at the U-13 and U-14 girls level.

Not OP on this one, however, I see the U13 Lusitana team making it to finals, but what are you basing your U14 prediction on?
I think It's SC and either BW or BS FC. Don't know much about the Lusitana team, so what makes you say they'll be in final? Not being sarcastic, I actually am curious.

U14: I think in the U14 you need to give the nod to Bayside. I think of the 9 teams in this group they are the strongest by rep. They have a strong core with the girls from Coventry and the addition of the girls from the Rays this past fall. However, of the three pools in this division, thier pool with Portsmout & Lusitana is easily the most competitive. Portsmouth girls are the reigning State Champs for Middle School and their team features many of those same girls. Lusitana has only been together for a year but has come together nicely. They have been stuck in Masc but are 9-0 since fall. They were a finalist in last year's Bandit Cup against all maple teams. They are fresh off a decent showing at Baltimore Mania playing teams from NY, PA & NJ. I have no idea if they can beat Bayside in pool play but we'll see.

Blackwatch should take thier pool and South County should take their pool. Not a clue who get's the 4th spot but I doubt that will come from Bayside/Coventry/Luistana pool. I am liking a Bayside v. South County Final unless they play one another in the semi.

Good team with an excellent premier level striker but if they can neutralize her I am not sure the rest of the team could pull it off. Will be fun to watch for sure as those girls do not know the words let up or quit. A very close knit group with a great coach.

You must be a premier team hater or a parent then because it is weird why someone would just out of the blue care about a U12 game. Honestly, I hope the town teams can compete against the premier teams to make it a nice fun tournament but who are you to instigate things online if you have no clue about the two teams.

It cracks me up when people post this type of stuff. Don't care what teams are involved but it's wrong to post false statements online. If it's a rumor why post it. Don't even know anyone on the two teams. It's the point of the stupid postings on this site that just hurt the kids that I have issue with. Don't really care about the game.

logically speaking, why would a premier team want to scrimmage a town team. Who would!! Not sure what purpose it has. If you are a premier parent paying a couple of thousand to play and you are looking for competition in town, I would question that. Never really heard of this Portsmouth team but pretty bold statement and maybe you should be more humble or play in a premier league if you are so good.

Rumor has it! and it must be so important that everyone in RI soccer is talking about it. Who cares!

And once he stirs the pot enough, and drawn some TS attention to the team, he going to point the coach (whose arse he's just promoted) to go look at what everyone is saying about the team.

I would suggest to stop now before it gets worse for your town. You have a good reputation for a town program and don't get involved on this site and start putting your town name all over it for attention. I am a Portsmouth parent of the u16 boys team, and know the coach and parents of this team. Trust me, no one connected with that team is posting here. FYI, the u12 girls team plays Maple. I don't know if they will win the State Cup, but they are a decent team.

We are talking about U12 8v8 girls here, correct? Who really cares? If you're trying to stir the pot at U12 8v8, you're in for long miserable soccer experience. Enjoy the kids' games and try not to be so involved. I can only imagine what a ride home from a loss must be like in your family. Expect this stuff from crazy Premier parents, but not town teams. If you were really a good U12 team you'd have entered 11v11 btw, like the Smithfield team did. Most premiere teams playing 8v8 are U11 teams.

If you are from Portsmouth, you must be a rookie becasue now you will be hammered on this site for posting all this stuff! Good luck but poor choice for mentioning your town name and trying to get attention. It's all downhill from here!! Trust me, we had some people in our town post stupid stuff a year ago and the organization ends up getting a bad name. This site is not good and it should only be used to promote soccer and not criticize it.
