The funny thing is that the stars site has an add looking for coaches and nefc has such a 1 year turnover its not even funny. Thats because they are not easy to find. Why stop at bayside JT at bruno coaches his kid and SC at BWP coaches his kid DT at tidal wave. They all do it makes sense. USA head mens coach coached his own son. I dont have a problem with parents coaching their child when they have been coaching long before that child was born its the pop-up coaches like Bayside U13 coach or MB at Bruno or DT at Tidal wave. The only reason they coach is because of the kid.

Right now, Bayside girls are coached by dads with no other experience other than having good daughters at the younger ages. They bring a good number of talented players to the mix, mostly from the likes of Bristol and some from Lincoln.

This is not how a true premier club like those mentioned builds their teams. They have tryouts, they recruit the best players from all over the state, and they assign a professional coach with experience and qualifications. This is far from the Bayside model of present.

Bayside boys is a different beast from Bayside girls. Bayside girls is a lot farther behind the truly strong premier clubs in New England than laymen or members want to realize.

Wrong!! Bayside U13 coach has been coaching at PC for a long time(more than 10 years) and used to coach premier on the boys side at an old club well before his kids were born. My nephew used to play for him 15 years ago and they had one of the best teams in region 1. Ask anyone who knows and ask them about the old midstate team. He didn't have any kids and your excuses don't hold water. You have an agenda against these guys and it's wrong. He coaches in the Big East, one of the best conferences in the country. By the way, he used to play for the Stingrays back in the olds days(I used to go to the games) and probably one of the best defenders to ever come out of this state.

Yes, now go to the websites of Stars, NEFC, and similar clubs, clubs Bayside say they a are similar to, and come back here. You will not feel the experience coaching Bristol town teams to be as impressive.

Not trying to defend these guys but I am pretty sure I know who this poster is talking about. My daughter played for Warwick and we played their teams last year and from what I know their Bristol team won the SRI Cup, Fall and Spring Super liga titles. I know because we got beat by them and we had a pretty good team. Our girls were always afraid to play them. I was watching a game and my buddy came along and he told me he knew the coaches.

My buddy used to play them in high school and he told me about them and they were big time players in their day. I guess when they were in High School, their Bristol teams were powerhouses.

Don't know him well but not a soccer guy from what I know but does a nice job from what I have seen. The other two Bristol guys I have seen and they are real good and do a nice job with the girls. My daughter plays on another team but I used to watch their sessions in indoor and it was quality stuff. I always notice because they are always playing with the girls and they can play. I am there when they train and they do a nice job!! Not sure why you would bash them if you knew what their credentials are as players and coaches. i never really knew either until I went to the Bayside site. My daughter played on a club where the coaches had no credentials because they don't put any on the website and the coaches with the licenses would always have to put his name as the coach.

obviously you have an ax to grind with one of the baysides (I think you are confusing the two, btw). whatsa matta...little mia didn't make the team? Or are you tired of getting beat by what you thinik is inferior coaching? Crawl back in your hole and stop bashing...

My guess is DOZENS.

Bayside is exposing their players more and more to the outside world of club soccer, and the parents are beginning to notice the difference.

You seem to know everything about them but you never once talked about their professional playing experiences. It seems like you are harrassing these guys. You must not know much about soccer or maybe never played. You wouldn't know a properly run session if it hit you in the face.

We can all read through the lines, you are a loser with an old gripe with these guys. Get over it! Did you used to sit the bench when they played and now trying to get them back at them.

Just not sure why out of the blue you come out and just start criticizing them. Your have given too many clues that you have a personal gripe with them. Your credentials bologne isn't working. Do your homework first before you ome on here and criticize Bayside coaches.

Speaking of u15 boys, what happened to that Rams team? Last year as u14s they actually beat Bayside in the opening round. This year they're getting blown out every game. I know they lost some of their top players. Why?

Very sad!! Never posted before but I feel like I have to. Don't listen to this poster. I took a coaching license class with the two guys this poster is talking about. At least I think
I do because they both are from Bristol and coach at Bayside. They were probably the two most knowledgeable soccer guys I ever met. Nice guys and they presented excellent sessions. The instructors at times just had them skip by stuff because they had it figured out.

The most impressive part was their playing skills. In the class we do a lot of playing and these guys were amazing. Now I can see why they played professionally. One of the instructors in the class told a bunch of us he used to play with them and they were amazing players.

The original poster is a very dishonest person and no morals. Great guys, coaches and even more impressive was their playing ability. I know they are older but to be able to play like that at their age was fun to watch.
