Bayside FC Bolts dominance in RI is over on the boys side

Just looking at the NEP Fall results, it looks like Bayside FC Bolts is no longer to top dog. From U11 thru U14 Bruno's records suggested they have made great strive at improving the boys side.

Very pointless Statement, wait till the State Cup games are over before you pound your chest. I do not have a child in any of the mentioned teams but I am smart enough to not open my mouth until I have actually won something.

Remember NEP is about Developement not winning...State Cup is about winning.

Development is what wins game. And by NEP fall standing, Bruno has shown more development. Not taking anything away from Bayside FC Bolts because they are still the champ. But if Bruno keep beating Bayside on the pitch, they will have tons of confidence going into the SC. Confident is a important commodity. When the other team beat your team on a regular base you either loss it or the other team gain it.

Let's see if Bruno puts their U12 boys into the State Cup 11 v 11 bracket this year instead of opting to beat up on the town and other premier U11s that enter the U12 8 v 8 bracket like they did last year.

Trust me Bayside FC Bolts U12 aren't that strong so they may opt for 8v8 too. In that case, the Bruno U12 should easily beat Bayside U12. Head-to-head matches were 8-4 and 4-1 and the game was not even close. Unless there is a miracle between now and SC I don't see any reasons why the result would be different. The soccer god is smile torward Bruno.

The scores were 8-4 and 7-5 Bruno was at the winning end of both of those games but they were not that much better than us. I know we have had a boy training with us the past few weeks not sure on the deal with him but he would be one of our best players. He would really give us that much needed midfielder who will control the middle and the pace of the game.

Plenty of time before SC play.

Putting all your hopes and dreams in one new player and you have no idea if he is playing for you...sounds desperate to me...how much can one player contribute anyway.

Bruno is moving in the right direction for once on the boys side.

My mistake the scores were 8-4, 7-5, 4-1. See 3 for 3 that is domination. That player, he is also training with Bruno.

I am not a Bruno Dad or Bayside. I would say 3 wins in a row games does make one team better than the other, domination I would not go that far.

The player training with both teams can not be that good. Why is he not playing for another Premier team and why is he available if he is that good.

Actually, may mean he's very good..and able to milk both clubs for free winter training (or at least up to the deadline that the club has to submit/lock rosters for State Cup)..If he wasn't showing some potential to make a difference, I'd doubt the clubs would let me keep coming without officially rostering/committing unless they were short.

Really? maybe if the child lived in South Kingstown, that is the only town where a 12 year old is not on a Premier team and he is good...all the good U12 boys are on a Premier team.

No wait Capital youth soccer may have some gems hiding, but that is the only town.

Kid will stick around until the father has to pay $ - that is usually why these kids bounce around.

Capital has a lot of good =premeir level players that don't play becuase it is to much money and the travel is hard on the parents especially tournaments = $$$$.

many of the kids will end up at Bayside , bruno , explosions, expos but they are usually the real good kids that can carry a team or make a big difference and will take up a scholarship spot. The clubs can only offer 2 scholarships a team so the coaches have to decide how to div the money
