looks like the long awaited clash will take place during the scorpion bowl. Get your tickets early.

Here is my take on the outcome of this tournament and the State Cup:

For the Scorpion Bowl, it will be a very close score, or TW will win. Reason: TW practices much more than Bruno in the winter and early spring (why Bruno only practices once a week for only one hour is still a mystery to me for the money they pay).

However, Bruno will win the State Cup. Reason: 1. They will have two months of real practice; and 2. Lets face it, the players on TW are very, very good, but the players on Bruno are just a little better. TW has brought in some new scorers and maybe they can make a big difference? I don't know. What I do know is that Bruno firmed up their defense. They also brought back a scorer from Portsmouth who was hurt last year (and if AD comes back, its no contest). I just don't see TW overcoming that, unless their new scorers are real good.

Just my 2 cents.

TW U17 does practice a lot, regularly losing to the younger team. However, that which does not kill you makes you stronger. If the 17s can withstand repeated defeats at practice, they may be able to turn that into a scorpion cup win.

AD is finished and that is a shame. The portsmouth girl for bruno played in final last year. loss of AD gonna be huge. What does Bruno get for their money?

AD did not start playing for Bruno until the second half of last spring's season. She was nowhere near her pre-injured self. She did contribute to last years success, but was not their main scorer. MM from Portsmouth is their #1 goal scorer. The other Portsmouth girl that was injured most of last year will definitely have an impact this year (I think she was Portsmouth's 2nd highest scorer, 2nd to MM). AD not returning this year will not be huge.

First of all all three played and scored in final. Second of all having ad allows mm to play center mid where she is better and did her scoring in hs. You are delusional if you think not having ad matters. Btw portsmouth's second scorer was the tidal wave girl you loved to bash.
