exactly! it matters to us, & if you think about it Cranston West has more pts scored & alot of top scorers & they have a phenomenal goalie

They have two (yes, two) surprising outcomes this season, a tie with SK and 4-0 drubbing of Cumberland. They are probably outperforming everyone's expectations but they will still be lucky to make playoffs. Period, end of story.

Period, end of story? - The top two teams from each division are into the playoffs. CW looks like they will make it IMO. The final two teams are the teams with the best records after the top two from each division are removed from the list.

Ok idiot learn how to read. I meant you were wrong about top two in each division qualifying. You actually made me look this up, now I am irritated. Have fun watching from the stands CW

A. RIIL Championships will be determined by the team with the greatest number of points arrived at by crediting a
school with two (2) points for a victory, one point for a tie, and no points for a loss. In case of a tie for first
place, a co-championship will be declared. All division winners automatically qualify for the tournament and
must be seeded by their percentage accordingly.

Boy, Portsmouth must be an unhealth place to live. I have seen several posts in the past month about their health being to reason for all their losses. I guess they were sick at the beginning of the year when they lost at home to Prout, or two weeks latter when they lost at home to EG, or the week after when they lost to Smithfield, and even this week when they lost to S. Kingstown. I assume the entire team will have the flu when they get smashed by LaSalle this weekend, or when they lose to N. Kingstown and/or Cumberland next week. I hope they get healthy soon, they are running out of weeks.

This is correct but sweep is a bit strong. If all goes as expected, a tie would give Portsmouth the division win, or who ever wins will take it. I'm rooting for CW.

A little to late for a come back. Even if the beat Portsmouth in their next meeting, Portsmouth will still beat Barrington. And CW would still have to beat Portsmouth head to head.

The way Portsmouth has been playing, nothing is for sure. They really only have 2 easy games left (tollgate and warwick), they could easily lose to Barrington, Nk and Cranston.

If what you say happens then CW will win your division, and you would probably end up tied with Barrington. It looks like only the DI-C winner will make it into the playoffs. Obviously, the games have to be played but right now it doesn't look all that promising for Barrington. good luck though, you never know for sure until it's over.(in some cases that is not true)
