[QUOTE=Unregistered;606618]I know...there is some sense of organization behind the girls program. The coach knows what he wants on the field come match time and structures his practice accordingly.

Don't underestimate the fact that the middle school system program is strong with jl. Some people don't think he is a real soccer coach but his program at the middle school is excellent and his past two years show that. jl and jd and the eigth grade girls are prepared for tryouts.

I'm sure all the varsity teams across the state have been chosen by now, and I'm sure there are some big disappointments---sorry

The reality is that the majority of girls from Lincoln play premier (or at least the good players). The middle school coach's success is because he gets well trained players. Not that he is a bad coach, but School coaches do not make a big impact on the skill of their players. If they are complete idiots then they can certainly screw things up, even with good players though.

I'm sore as hell from tryouts - I must have ate 5 donuts the other day while watching from my air conditioned car. I should have trained harder this summer in preparation.
