    playing abroad

My daughter leaves tomorrow with the TW team to play over in Denmark and I am very excited for her. They are staying for ten days and will be playing friendlies and BBQing with teams, taking in a day of training with micheal parkhurst's denmark team, sightseeing and of course playing in the second largest tourney in the world. I know bruno dad will probably chime in and say they will get killed, but who really cares. what I want to know is are there any others out there who have taken trips like this and do they have any great memories. btw because of fundraisers cost was minimal.

Most of us are relaxing and enjoying a few months away from soccer and spending it with our families.

Should be a terrific experience, and one of the better times of year to be in Denmark. I expect they'll be going out of Copenhagen, which provides a sampling of a European city, old homes, and an age-appropriate amusement park (Tivoli) in the city. Probably the best age to visit Denmark for the sights and culture, probably the worst beer in Europe but at their age it doesn't matter. Save the trips to Belgium and Germany for when they hit 21.

Hope your daughter has a great and safe trip! my high school soccer team went to germany for 2 weeks in 1984 and i still have very fond memories of that trip! she should have a great time and the best thing is it's not all about the games. it's a great way to see the sport in another country and and interact with the locals and their teams.

should be a great experience - I doubt they will remember the scores years from now - the rest they will treasure forever.

Infamous Bruno dad makes appearance and quickly moves on to troll the Massachusetts forum.

Bruno dad. Don't really care that your daughter is in Denmark. I'm sure she will trade the pizza in for beer and still chase the boys. Have fun, soccer is over after this year for her.

That will be up to her, but find it very strange that you take some kind of joy in that. If in fact you are talking about a specific girl I wonder why you obsess over her on the computer. One of the most pathetic posts I've seen from you and that's saying something.

Why post something about your daughter if you don't want anyone to say something about her? I'm sure it's more about colleges making that decision for her.
